LNFL LBLRTM RADSUM wrapper script description:

Publisher review:
LNFL LBLRTM RADSUM wrapper writes and executes LNFL, LBLRTM, and RADSUM This series of functions interfaces with the AER radiative transfer codes including LNFL: calculates line-parameters from hitran-like database.

LBLRTM: flexible, powerful, accurate line-by-line radiative transfer code that calculates radiance, brightness temperature, transmittance, optical depth, for a given atmospheric state and viewing geometry RADSUM: uses LBLRTM calculations to produce spectral heating rate information. These files will write the input files and then execute the lnfl, lblrtm, and radsum programs. The assumptions made in this series of programs allows for the modelling or radiative transfer and heating rates consistent with the thermal infrared portion of the spectrum for a ground-, aircraft-, or satellite-based instrument. The help of Mark Shepard and Tony Clough has been invaluable in making these wrappers.
LNFL LBLRTM RADSUM wrapper is a Matlab script for Earth Sciences scripts design by Daniel Feldman. It runs on following operating system: Windows / Linux / Mac OS / BSD / Solaris.
